Snowmobile Ski & Snowboard Rack
Build Your Own Rack System — Mounting Brackets Starting at $45
Carry your skis or snowboard securely — without buying an expensive rack system.
Our snowmobile ski and snowboard mounting brackets are the simplest way to build your own rack alternative setup. Start with our mounting brackets, then add straps and adapters to fit your needs. Whether you're mounting to a custom rack or directly to your tunnel, this modular system gives you the freedom to build what works best for you. Our mounting brackets are the most cost-effective way to mount skis to older snowmobiles.
Updated Design for the 2025/2026 Season
For the 2025/2026 season, we've refined our Snowmobile Ski and Snowboard Mounting Brackets with a wider profile for increased holding power when strapped down.
Key Features
- Built for customization – Whether you're building a DIY rack or a custom setup for your snowmobile, our brackets make it look clean, professional, and purpose-built.
- Serviceable – Built using tried and true Voilé straps and 304 stainless hardware — simple, durable, and easy to repair.
- Big savings – Other companies' mounting brackets cost $150 per set and require a proprietary rack that adds another $300+. We're 50–70% cheaper than other systems on the market.
- Built for the cold – TPU brackets stay flexible and tough in subzero temps. 304 stainless steel hardware won't rust, even after seasons of riding.
- Innovative design – A rigid mounting base provides a solid connection to your sled tunnel or rack, while the honeycomb core flexes just enough to conform to skis or boards for a snug, rattle-free fit.
- Made in the USA – Designed and manufactured in Bend, Oregon. We've partnered with Voilé (the original backcountry strap, also made in the USA) to give you the most rugged, American-made system we could build.
How the Snowmobile Tunnel-Mount Ski Rack System Works
This is a build-your-own kit — start with the base brackets, add only the parts you need, then choose how many sets to buy before adding to cart.
Step 1 – Start with the Brackets ($45)
- One pair of TPU Snowmobile Ski and Snowboard Mounting Brackets (enough for one set of skis + poles or one snowboard)
- Flexible, impact-resistant TPU that stays tough in sub-zero temps
- Includes a drill guide to help with hole positioning
Step 2 – Add Straps
- Voilé Strap Kit (+$22): Two 32" XL Voilé straps for a strong, adjustable hold — long enough for skis or snowboards. Strap keepers included free.
Step 3 – Add Adapters or Hardware
We offer different hardware and adapter options for different setups. Select what you need — or find all options in the Complete Your Setup section at the bottom of this page.
- 3.5" Hardware Kit (+$12): Stainless bolts, washers, and Nyloc nuts for mounting to a rack or directly to your tunnel wall.
- Skidoo Gen 2–3 Adapter (+$40): Designed for direct tunnel mounting on Skidoo REV-XP (Gen 2) and REV-XM/REV-XS (Gen 3) sleds, roughly model years 2008–2016. Provides a clean, secure mounting interface without requiring a full rack. Stainless steel hardware included.
- 1" Tunnel Spacer Kit: Adds clearance for TPU brackets on older sleds or tight tunnel areas. Includes 2 durable nylon spacers and stainless steel hardware.
Compatibility & Fitment
Our modular approach lets you build your own snowmobile ski rack or snowboard rack cost-effectively. Most riders pair the base mounting brackets, stainless hardware, and straps to create a setup that fits their sled.
The brackets can be mounted three ways:
- Directly to the tunnel's vertical wall – Works well for many Skidoo, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Yamaha models.
- Bolted to a homemade rack or accessory plate – A clean way to upgrade a DIY setup and give it a more polished look.
- With one of our adapters – Our spacers and adapters provide different mounting options for many makes and models.
We've had customers successfully install this system on many Skidoo, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Yamaha snowmobiles. Every sled is different, and while we aim to provide universal solutions, it's ultimately up to the rider to determine the best mounting layout for their machine. We continue to gather rider feedback and will release additional mounting options over time.
⚠️ Important: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compatibility with their sled. Drilling into the tunnel must be done carefully to avoid damaging the heat exchanger or other equipment. ❓ Unsure if these will fit? Contact us and we'll help you decide.
